Oh Hey :)
Hey hey. Sorry I've been absent so far this week, I've had a migraine the last few days, and they tend to knock me on my butt and can last for almost a week sometimes. Plus my brother just had his 30th birthday, and we celebrated a LITTLE too hard, haha. We watched Advent Children, though, which was my first time seeing it. Fun! Anyway... Because of all of that, writing has been slow. I did update Life's Little Challenges Sunday, with something rather comical and a bit 'dirty,' haha. I am working on Tasks for the Turks, I may get it done by tomorrow... We shall see how I feel.

What did you think of Advent Children? I liked it, though I wished some of the other characters were shown more. You should totally look up some Crisis Core vids on youtube. Especially one that is an awesome fight between Sephiroth and two other characters, Genesis (every time I see your username I think of him. XD) and Angeal, who were his friends before he went mad.

I definitely agree, it was sad that some of my favorites got so painfully little screen time. I mean, I think Cait Sith got more time than Cid, Tseng and Elena all put together? 0_o I got to the point where I was all "Enough Cloud already, dammit!" Ha. I don't dislike him, really, but he never interested me that much. I think they did the best job on Vincent, maybe, and while he had more time than most of the others... still disappointing. The plot, um.... yeah, I was lost a fair amount of the time, and some of the "we can fight in the air infinitely" stuff got old. I think maybe they made Reno a *little* too stupid for my liking, but at least he and Rude got to be like... IN it. Anyway, yeah. Oh, and ha, I know... my pen name is from years before Genesis, and now it looks like I did it on purpose. I tell people the writers liked my fics so much they named him for me ;) Riiiiight.

Yeah! And I really wanted to see more of them, especially Tseng and Elena. Yeah, a lot of seemed to be Cloud moping. LOL It got old. I'm like you about Cloud. I just don't see anything special about him. My friend who only watched the movie said he has to be the weakest man she has seen. LOL Yeah, Vincent was great, but I still wished he was in it more. So many of the characters just seemed to be there in the movie.
DeleteYeah, the plot was out there. Yeah, it did. Sephiroth doing it is one thing since he can fly, but the others like Cloud, who apparently don't have that ability just makes no sense. And yeah, there was just too much of it.
I agree about Reno, Haha but yeah at least they got in it. And I think the only reason was to provide comedy, since they basically abandoned a lot of the other characters. So, that's probably why Reno was made more stupid. And is it just me or are all the characters different than in the game?

Yeah... the fact that Tseng and Elena got used as a nearly-forgotten plot device was sad. Then when they were finally on screen, if you blinked, you missed it. Definitely a disappointment for me.
DeleteI will never be able to adapt to Cid sounding like a Southerner, I don't think... lol. Everyone else sounded pretty much as I'd expected. (although Cloud didn't deserve that manly of a voice imo, lol) But yeah, a lot of the personalities seemed a little... off. Well, Rude and Vincent seemed more or less dead on. A lot of the others were questionable.
